Our Shepherd

 Pastor Ronald Kendrick accepted Christ as His Lord and Savior at the early age of eight under the pastorate of the late Rev. L.I. Galbreath. In 1990,  Pastor Kendrick answered the call to preach the gospel and preached his first initial sermon in February 4, 1990 under the pastorate of Rev. R. L. Jackson. He was ordained in 1993. From 1990-1994, Pastor Kendrick attended the American Baptist College where he earned a Bachelor of Arts Degree. In 1995, Pastor Kendrick was called to the pastorate of the First Missionary Baptist Church of Elkton, KY. He served there until 1999. In 2000, Pastor Kendrick joined the Cedar Grove Baptist Church where he served as Assistant Pastor under the late Rev. George Esters Jr. In March of 2007, Pastor Kendrick was asked to serve as interim pastor at the St. John Missionary Baptist. He was elected to serve as Pastor in the same year, the month of October. Pastor Ronald Kendrick has served in several positions within the First District Association of the General Association of Baptists in Kentucky. 

Pastor Ronald Kendrick is also employed by the Jennie Stuart Medical Center as a Certified Phlebotomist at the Express Lab. Pastor Kendrick is married to the former Tomeka Miller Kendrick. They have three lovely daughters: Cierra, Kierra and Shardaria. He currently has 6 lovely grandchildren.

Pastor Kendrick has a divine love for the teaching and preaching of the Word of God. He believes that everything about the Christian and the Church ought to be based on scripture.
